The cadence sensor or PAS (Pedal Assistance System), is a mandatory element in electric bikes in European countries. This sensor allows you to automatically start the engine when you are pedaling.
This sensor fits the vast majority of bottom bracket systems available on the market.
The PAS sensor is compatible with the following bottom bracket systems:
- Octalink I,
- Octalink II,
The cadence sensor consists of two components: a magnet disc and a sensor with a handle. The sensor is mounted under the bottom bracket nut. A disc with magnets is mounted on the square under the crank.
Number of measuring points: 12
The distance between the sensor and the magnet disk should be approx. 1-2 mm.
Note: this sensor is compatible with all Rapid sets after setting parameter C01 to value 05.
